Keyboard layout resets to english on every boot

Hello dear community,

after the last update my keyboard layout resets to english after every boot.

There was this thread from 2 year ago with a similar problem but no solution.

How I can debug this?

Add language to layouts, then move up from the three vertical dots.

I’m exactly doing this and my German Keyboard Layout works for the Session.

But after reboot it resets to English USA like in the Screenshot.

Maybe there’s a problem with saving your configuration?

sudo chown -Rc $USER ~/

could fix that.

Or are you using sessions? And your choosen session is without your german keyboard layout?
