The epic Kernel version 666 has just been released.
Unfortunately, rather boring Changelog:

O dear, this really is the work of the devil, the changelog just clued me into what might be the reason why wifi can’t connect and seems to make my computer unusable.
This all because of the wifi issues a lot of people were experiencing.

Me and Greg Kroah-Hartman:
Hurrah! Now I can re-install my system. . . . just as good . . . . practice makes perfect until these kind of things happen. . . .
Rich
why reinstall? Just download the two kernel packages on an USB drive and copy it there and install it with pacman -U …
Or downgrade to a lower version, which should still be in disk cache ( /var/cache/pacman/pkg/
), and then upgrade to 6.6.6
that involve Critical thinking… you ask tooooo much
Say10 demands reinstallation!111
After upgrading recently I, too, faced the gates of hell.
But once again, Timeshift successfully pulled me back from the brink. As a result, I simply experienced a brief visit to purgatory.
When will I finally learn to simply check to forums before typing yay
?!
Just got the update. I have to play some original DOOM on the Linux Kernel 6.6.6. This is my only chance in life.
That’s why I have two Kernels installed: The latest Kernel and the LTS one. If the newest one breaks something for whatever reason, I can still boot into the older more stable one.
in this instance, both were doomed: https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v6.x/ChangeLog-6.1.67
Never thought I’d be saying this, but only God can save us now…
Forgive me father!
Wish that trick had worked for me. None of my kernels from the grub screen got me far. I had to go back through my Timeshift way-back machine to get up and running again.
