Kdenlive crash when trying recording

Kdenlive is crashing when trying to record the screen, no matter what would be the settings.. Here is the crash log:

This is my system details:
Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.17.9-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × AMD FX™-4300 Quad-Core Processor
Memory: 12 GiB of RAM (7.7 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 550 / 550 Series
Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.

The Kdenlive guys in their Telegram channel, are saying that this problem is ‘probably’ Wayland related. I don’t know. Can you guys please help me on this?

Regards.

I’ve been using KDenlive off and on, certainly no expert, but I think I have seen this

Error opening input: Input/output error Error opening input file :0.0+0.0+nomouse. Error opening input files: Input/output error

And if I remember correctly it means that KDenlive couldn’t read from the USB recording device. That’s all I can remember, I’m sorry. But perhaps you can find out if mmpeg can indeed read from the device?

Just tested screen recording in Openbox (which is X11) and it worked without error.
It’s been a while. Have you since tried recording in an X11 session of KDE?
