Looking good. I’ll try it out… maybe in a couple of weeks after most of the are gone.

Me too. It looks great; I’m nervous about Wayland, though

Ran it from the bottom up over the unstable cycle until a few nights back. Hope you folks get what you want, I know that I’ll try it again when Plasma 7 goes to unstable.

Regarding Wayland being default thing - does anyone know if this applies only to new installations or update will change existing configs as well?

wayland is now a dependency of plasma-desktop (6.0.0-1) so it will get installed in this update.
However, since an update should, in principle, never change user’s configs, perhaps on older installs, the default session will remain as before.
Another question, those having plasma-wayland-session installed on their system, will this package be superfluos now and thus removed in this update?

I’m curious how the qt6ct question will work, will we need to activate qt5ct and remove the 6 or will Breeze be backwards compatible?
Wayland has been working fine for me on Kde Plasma so i hope it’s only better on Kde Plasma 6.

I am not sure I understand the question. You usually would not use either with plasma.
