Did anyone tried to run SDDM with wayland and kwin ? 
Yes, no Problem detected since three days.
I am using Wayland both on Ryzen with Amd and also Intel with Nvidia. Both using sddm no issues.
Sorry did we talk about the same things ? My message wasnāt clear. I was talking about running SDDM under wayland.

I bought this an am very happy with it.
I think i can install it next week when it arrives. At the moment i use the on-board graphics from the ryzen 7. It surely will be a much higher performance.

The new one i have RX6750 XT is an Asus brand.
I have choosen Gigabyte because my Mainboard is a Gigabyte Aourus Elite.
This must be working well with my Plasma and Video stuff and Gaia thing.

Ok, so iāve just tested with a fresh install of eos on vbox.
Donāt know if its vm related but after clicking āApply Plasma Settingsā¦ā the cursor on SDDM is now oversized (perfect for my grand-ma but not a much for me).
Also the keyboard layout default each time to US and for some reason the combobox donāt work for me 
Your better off using vmware. I used to be a v-box user for a long time and i gave up on it.
Or if the host is Linux also, Qemu/KVM gives wonderful performance and offers more features than the vmware player last time I ran player (has been a few versions).

Just learn that to get your usual keyboard layout, you could launch kwin_wayland with --locale1
