KDE not starting

After following good advice in Bloat or Normal? I removed Gnome after installing KDE.

Upon rebooting I get tty login instead of the greeter. How to default login to SDM so I can choose KDE? Also how to configure it persistently?
Thanks

Michael

sudo systemctl enable --now sddm.service --force

For future reference, the issue is that you were using gdm as a display manager which is no longer installed. So, all you need to do is enable sddm.

Thanks. I have much to learn.
I did not mark it solved, as I will do it tomorrow.
