Hey Community,
I dunno if this is only me, but currently the current Keyboard-Language is frequently set backed to “English (USA)”.
I have send a Issue here by KDE - Bug Center.
Would be cool - also for the bug report - to know whether this only affects me or others as well.
Ressources (I add this later on the Bug-Report, maby it’s useful): Reddit - “Why does KDE not remember my keyboard layouts after a restart and defaults to US? I’m tired of always having to configure it when I boot my laptor”
Tryed sudo pacman -Rn $(pacman -Qdtq) which is removing orphans
No but I can see that you still have fcitx5 installed, and in the link I gave you a lot of keyboard settings where solved by removing fcitx5. I have removed it myself bacause I don´t have the need for a secondary layout.
Note: By itself, fcitx5 has only a basic framework that just gives English support. If you want to input other languages, such as Chinese or Japanese, you need an Input Method Engine (IME). See Input method#List of available input method editors for a list of available IMEs.
I try sudo pacman -R fcitx5 now, too delete the Package and Reboot my Device
