Is it possible to completely remove Xorg & Just use Wayland on KDE

I’m thinking of slimming down my system a bit. Was wondering whether it was possible to remove Xorg & just stick to Wayland without breaking anything.

There is a proposal for Fedora to drop the support for X11 with the Plasma 6 upgrade.

You’ll still need to use xwayland if you’re going to be able to run any non-Wayland programs. This isn’t likely to change any time soon.

So if you’re thinking about slimming down your system a bit, remove Wayland. :rofl:
