I need help booting to EOS

Is there anyway i can check it? Except of seeing the disabled option for secure boot in bios

If you know, then you don’t need an answer.
If you don’t know, I have already answered. It’s OK, no matter how it looks, or it frightens people. Chinese products are all over the world. Seeing Chinese characters (if they are actually chinese), means nothing different from being Greek, or English.
There is nothing to be gained from this conversation. Please, let it me out of it :man_shrugging: .

I said i Know that when things are corrupted or in another Unicode system will show them like that, but i didn’t said that I’m sure if it’s in my case or not

Isn’t this 1.1.1.1 DNS?

looks like somehow an error message to me…

mokutil --sb-state

needs yay -S mokutil

And investigate in your Bios/efifirmware to see any stuff related… could be also the entry was created while secure boot was enabled, and now it is disabled…

I would go remove the entry and rewrite a new one to see if it is the same. But as we do not know why this entry is looking that way nor why you can not write into nvram … i can not recommend to do so,

As an alternative solution, I would suggest to try installing on an external USB drive. Then, if your installation is successful and working, try to copy the working partition on the final, target drive.

It haves to be a 1:1 copy (using an accurate partition manager, like Gparted or the Gnome Partition Manager for example). Then, of course you’ll have to install the bootloader on the target partition, then modify the boot priority / order with efibootmgr, then finally try to boot on it.

I suggest that because whatever the configuration / hardware is, I always have success in installing EOS on an external USB drive. It is my situation now, and it works flawlessly.

will it cause me any problems later ?

only if you would have one with it, not in general…
