Just a friendly reminder: Plain text or screenshots of terminal output can be difficult to read. it’s a lot easier to read terminal output if you use the forum’s Preformatted Text option in posts and replies.

My bad I’ll keep it in mind, I tried ranking mirrors as was suggested

I updated them and got a new set of issues when i re-ran the eos-welcome…

Yikes my bad! Didn’t read the plain text being an issue part as well, thanks for the help so far big sorry

why did you remove this?

Saw someone had a similar issue and their fix was deleting that specifically. Restarting and running yay

do you know what all you deleted? its going to be hard to give actual advice when we don’t know what all you did.

Not sure what you saw or how old it was so no idea there.

I’ll be honest no I have no clue what I deleted tbh, I kinda was just following the advice I had found on this forum and the issue went from GPGME not being found to…well that,

Links?

Well, depending upon what you deleted, this may or may not work, but let’s start by running this command:

sudo pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring endeavouros-keyring

Then try updating the system again.

If you still have problems, proceed through the options listed here:

I was just correcting the OP’s post by cleaning it up with the “preformatted text” option. I’m suffering no issues.

Oh hell, sorry @UncleSpellbinder, I didn’t mean to quote you there :man_facepalming:. I obviously wasn’t paying attention…I do drink a lot, you know…

So I have been trying but it seems the issue is it is simply missing signature files and it SURE tries to get them from my mirror list but apparently .db.sig files are nowhere to be found…sooo am at a loss

error: failed retrieving file 'extra.db.sig' from repository.su : The requested URL returned error: 404
warning: too many errors from repository.su, skipping for the remainder of this transaction
error: failed to synchronize all databases (failed to retrieve some files)

idk if I did the CTRL+E encoding right but yeah idk what to do, cause it seems obvious but idk

Those are still mirror problems with your endeavouros mirror (although now it’s a different mirror).

I don’t use Endeavour but I know they have a EOS-rankmirror option in the welcome app (it may not be called exactly EOS-ramkmirrors, but something like that). Does it have an option to specify “latest synced mirrors” or something similar?

Not that I am aware of tbh I’ve been trying to figure out this for a little while, I’ll try seeing if I find anything
Thanks forr the help so far yall
