Terminal Output In Forum Topics/Posts - PREFORMATTED TEXT

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT -

  • Sometimes trying to read terminal output on this forum, is a chore.
  • For those who don’t know, It would be a lot easier to navigate your terminal output if you would use the preformatted text option.

The keyboard shortcut for this is CTRL+E

Be aware that the row must be free for it to show up like that, if not it will just be “pre formatted text”.

Also if you are on the phone like me right now you have to use the + symbol to find it :slight_smile:

A bit of a BUMP to this thread because I’m noticing a lot of forum users posting terminal output that’s difficult to read. Please scroll up to post #1. :wink:

Perhaps this thread could be pinned to the top of the Forum section?

Same issue on Manjaro forum if it’s any consolation. :roll_eyes: Must have edited hundreds over there. Worse are the screenshots of text; I guess you see these here too … :thinking:
(Not spent enough time here yet to see for myself).
