Of course, you can not know either :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Put a 2023 Miata in the photo line-up . . . you do them injustice with the old models. . . . I own a ‘automatic’ 2021 convertible hardtop with 2.0 liter 180 hp engine and at conservative speeds I get 38 to 42 mpg. All those ‘idiot’ You tube videos of people driving the 6-speed red lining the engine to 7000 rpm are birdbrains in my opinion. It’s all about the drive and the open top with the sun. . . . pure motoring aesthetics. BTW you still have to look out for idiot drivers in ‘Big’ vehicles. . . i.e. SUV’s, Pickup Trucks and the like, they can squash you if your not paying attention.

Rich

Sorry Sir, I don’t have this car.

I can relate. :poop: like this always happens when I participate in a World Touring Car Race at Spa with my Go Kart.

These are all ‘your’ vehicles? Sorry for my vitriol . I’m into the joy of driving and not a race car driver by any means. Aesthetics and the pure joy of driving is my forte. I’m not into speed. I once motorcycled in my youth and speed can get you out of some tough spots but it kills if improperly used. Just my two cents worth. No insults intended. . . .

Rich;)

Yes, I own all of those…in Gran Turismo 7

IRL I just own a 116hp car. I love speed but traffic here is so intense that you just can’t drive fast anyway. So I satisfy my thirst for speed virtually.

I’m sure there was a lot of popping in those cars in the good old days:slightly_smiling_face:

Form follows function. . . . A well designed aerodynamic car is a thing of beauty. I’v always been into fuel efficiency also. Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. . .

My favourite car (Citroen DS):

I drove with some friends towards lake garda. when we were looking for a place to stay in the middle of the night, we found an old salvage yard with a very junky citroen ds. The overnight stay in the car was fantastic. Stories from the last millennium.you can’t do that anymore today

in any case, some descendants were conceived in the car. nice car and a lot of space. campfire and a joint. things can happen in a situation like this :fire: :two_hearts:

:frog: car created by :frog: for :frog: …It must be done by those french who actually like :frog:, meaning not eating :frog:

Technically not a car, but I would love to own a BRDM-2 amphibious vehicle:

I would take it to the lake, to hang out with my :frog: buddies:

So yeah, BRDM-2 for everyday use, the fancy Citroen DS for special occasions. That would be the dream!

I prefer a vehicle with a comfortable back seat.
