Small suggestion moving forward. It sounds like you are new at working in Arch base Linux and well there is so much choice. What I did when I started (and even now) when I was going to try something new:

Check Sources like the (Arch Wik + EndeavourOS forums) to learn if there are recommendations on how to do something.

Before I install any package, I check the project Github/Repo to see what the documentation looks like and what are the known bugs.

I then write a plan how I intend to do the install and setup.
Most Importantly - do a sanity check. Take your plan and post it here in the forums discussing what you want to do. This way you avoid creating a mess in your environment.
We have some amazing people here @dalto @ddnn @cactux @Scotty_Trees (so many experts who have cut their teeth). Better to get it right the first time.
p.s. I have found researching in AI is not a bad idea. But I talk to the experts with my plan in hand.
