I’m a old Antergos user, and on my first try to install Endeavouros it was impossible, I suppose for the Nvidia graphics card. Now I tried again and IT WORKED!! GREAT!!
I was delighted with Antergos, and I was very sad for his end.
At first impression, I feel a great sensation with Endeavouros, seems very stable like Antergos, and after a lot of tries with other distros I’m very happy to come here, I can’t found a good distro for me. I hope my search has come to an end.
I installed LXDE. All is working great, as usual, only takes 170Mb of RAM, is impressive for my limited AMD A6 computer, is very fast, and I have more fps on games than other DE, I love LXDE.
Here the question: now I would like to uninstall completely XFCE, but if I try to uninstall the packages that Archwiki says to install it, I have some dependence errors. What is the way to have LXDE-only system?
Yes, I made exactly the step that the link says, but:
jordi@amd ~]$ sudo pacman -Rs xfce4 xfce4-goodies
comprobando dependencias...
error: no se pudo preparar la operación (no se pudieron satisfacer las dependencias)
:: kalu: quitando «xfce4-notifyd» se rompe la dependencia con «notification-daemon»
I dislike this forum’s software more than ever. Somebody posts firsts in 2019, marked the solution way back and someone could still post in it, and I could also. What happened to the lock? I wanted to say something in a topic in one of the “EndeavourOS United” forums but discovered the author edited it a few times and this site showed it as a “recent” topic on the front page. It’s confusing. Sorry for going off-topic but I had to let this out of my system.
