in this case devel version is the better solution, it includes newer versions of everything and there are BUGS fixed from spt ISO, Devels needed some rest so we do not make it official Release as we want to implement new Theming and some structural changes first.
September ISO is gone very old there are a lot of changes…
That did it. I was able to get to the desktop and run my monitor at the advertised specs. Tomorrow I’ll get to reinstalling EOS and seeing how it holds up.

Glad you were able to get it sorted out. 
Got EOS reinstalled on my system, and it’s able to run the monitor at advertised specs without issues. So a reinstall was what I needed, but I shouldn’t have had to do it.
