You took the nvidia card out and i assume you hooked the monitor to the boards hdmi output correct? So if you can enter the bios settings screen try to load the default settings and then after exit saving. See if it boots then.
What do you mean load default setting?
I don’t see anything that says load defaults
It may not have it so just exit the Bios screen and save.
Nvm i see defaul
Press F9 to load defaults then F10 to save and exit
Yes! I see my desktop
Ill check if bios is working
Or do i plug in gpu
Or should i be buying a new gpu
boot up to make sure its running fine and reboot into bios. Make sure it’s working before installing gpu. Then shut down and install gpu. If you get into trouble then you need to check your external gpu.
If you do boot up into the bios again make sure that secure boot is disabled.
Secure boot is on “custom”
There is standard and custom
Okay just leave it then since it did boot to the desktop should be okay.
Edit: So the problem of entering the Bios is now working?
So turn off plug in gpu?
Yes unplug it too and ground youself. Then put the gpu back in the pci-e slot and press it firmly into the slot so the back clip snaps up into place. Then secure it with the screw.
Booted fine with GPU
Is it good?
Can you reboot into bios now? Just enter bios and go out and boot up to see if it’s working as it should.
