Ill try it when im home
Not really because he has an nvme drive which is where eos is installed and an SSD that is MBR. So the SSD is easy but removing the battery is easier than removing an m.2 drive.
It could likely tell you if you have a problem with the motherboard. . . Which yes, actually could also fix your gpu problem.
Chasing xy problems are a huge waste of time. Start simple. Work out from there.
So what are the next steps to fixing this? Unless i just need new parts
Ah alright
Also, I guess since I’m realizing basic trouble shooting hasn’t been done.
Make sure your GPU, ram, disks, etc are all seated in properly. You could have this issue from something simple like a improperly seated ram module.
I don’t see that this is chasing xy problems. It started out with topic heading that wasn’t telling the whole story. You have to work through the issues in order to know that it’s a motherboard problem or other. The fact is the bios is 10 updates behind and that was the reason to try and boot into the bios in order to update it from there as it is the easiest method for a newbie. It wasn’t orginally loading to the desktop either.
Ah alright I only checked gpu Ill check those when im home as well
How do you have the monitor connected? Is it display port or HDMI? Check the connection by unplugging it and plug back in before starting the computer. If need be re-seat the video card by removing it first and putting it back in. Don’t forget to remove the screw holding it in or catch and there will be a catch at the bottom back of the card that releases it from the Pci-e slot.
I did that in the tutorial i watched to re seat the gpu. And im using hdmi. ( meaning i did the steps that you said )
So you have removed it once already to try to fix it?

Yea I’ve removed it once. And after it seemed to be mounted better than ever. Ill try the steps in the link you sent me. However just to let you know i dont have integrated graphics so it wont work without gpu
They didn’t have integrated graphics either. It’s just watching the lights on the board to see what it shows.
You have i9-10900K which does have Intel onboard graphics also. So you could try plugging the monitor into the output on the motherboard which i assume would be HDMI or display port instead of plugging it into your Nvidia card.
Edit: Your board has both HDMI and Display port.
Its on. Im in something called ami?

That’s the bios settings screen.
Alright well what do i do?
