i can do that, but i do still not know what is causing the glitch, it could be simply that the arc-gtk-theme is the issue caused by not fully compatible with gtk3, as Adwaita do not have this glitch.

Thunar 4.16.1 is now in the repos. Updating has fixed this problem for me.
