A conditional “delete id, else” seems… uncool, but you do you. But Mastodon can never and will never be a replacement for a board. (milkytwix@social.tchncs.de)
Second, at the removal itself:
As much as I love and respect the guys, I dislike this situation very much. And what I dislike even more is the fact that there is no central point in discussion about it, so now it is spread all over the forum, because we as a community dislike it.
To add some constructive matters: I would volubnteer as a moderator, if that helps. I am not often enough online, though, but adding mods just for the lounge would be the solution I would have prefered. The solution now came quite… quick. 
@EOS Staff: Whatever you do, I will respect it and still love you. But a tiny bit less, that is.
