Error Updating Packages/AUR Issues atm?

Is anyone else having issues updating packages the last hour or two? Is there another attack on the AUR or mirrors right now? Running into this error when trying to update any packages:

If no issues with repositories, does anybody happen to know what’s causing this error and/or how to resolve? Thank you very much in advance!!

Thank you very much. I’ll go ahead and add that url to my handy list of resources for next time

And thanks for the welcome! Happy to be here!

By the way, unless you have a specific need for them, it would be a good idea to remove those packages:

To be honest I do not know how they got there. I only use the official repository and do not use the user repository. At least not intentionally I don’t. I also try to avoid flatpak.

Is it possible those were installed along with something else that came from the official repository? I would consider myself new to EndeavorOS but not brand spankin’ new. I do have much to learn of course just as anyone always can, but I’m currently continuing to focus on my knowledge on this distro in particular, so feel free to let me know anything you find here that could be helpful.

maliit-keyboard was an optional dependency of kwin, and supplied a virtual keyboard for users who required/wanted a virtual keyboard.

It has been replaced by plasma-keyboard, so the maliit-keyboard package (and its dependencies) were dropped from the official Arch repos to the AUR.

If you need a virtual keyboard, install the plasma-keyboard package.

Makes total sense. Thank you VERY much for the help!! Just removed both.

This is just CRAZY. Why the hell is Arch being targeted? It’s been months, and it still seems that Arch is defenseless.

we can update now , AUR is operational
