What benefit is the eos-settings-xfce4 package?
It provides the default settings for xfce that you get with EOS.
It isn’t an absolute requirement, you can remove it if you don’t want it.
I don’t currently have it installed. I saw it when perusing packages in the Arch repos for xfce4. I think I’ll not install it. I’m not sure what “default settings” EOS uses and XFCE seems to work just like it does under my Debian installs. Thanks for the reply.
It means which gtk and icons theme to use, plus some component configurations.
Currently, EnOS XFCE4 installs with the default theming from XFCE.
Here is one way to obtain EnOS theming, etc.
