Endeavour OS dont installing with community editions

you have your phone connected to the same Network?
USB tethering with android phone would work. As long the issue is really with the device itself and not general network issue with the connection.

My phone is connected to mobile internet so as not to interfere with Wi-Fi

With usb tethering, internet speed increased to 1 and sometimes 3 MiB. But, I had the same error. Logs on https://termbin.com/hc4u. I think there is a mistake in this part of the logs:

“pacstrap: error: linux-firmware: signature from "Tobias Powalowski tobias.powalowski@googlemail.com" is invalid”
2024-12-24 - 14:31:53 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: “pacstrap: :: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-firmware-20241210.b00a7f7e-1-any.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).”
2024-12-24 - 14:31:53 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: “pacstrap: Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)”
2024-12-24 - 14:31:53 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: “pacstrap: Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.”
2024-12-24 - 14:31:53 [6]: [PYTHON JOB]: “pacstrap: ==> ERROR: Failed to install packages to new root”

I tried installing endeavour os offline, but after installing pacman doesn’t work. If i want install anything with pacman, all mirrors have error 404. Without usb tethering, my internet mostly drops to 0 b/s. Im using r8168-dkms, and Samsung A05. I think I should try another distribution, but most likely the situation will not get better. I’ll try to delete and download again iso file.

I think the problem is not in Realtek, but in the cable or in the TPLINK.
If it helps in any way, here is the information about it:
TL-WA850RE(EU) VER: 6.0

Could it be a problem with your ISP blocking the mirrors?

No. I used to have one Endeavour Os before with i3 wm and everything worked fine, although slowly due to the strange internet.

something not rolling may some old stable like debian Mint would work out better in case with slow/bad internet situation.
On ArchBased you will need stable internet.

Thanks, but I already installed Manjaro. It works fine, and my internet now works fine too, because I put the tplink in another room, and I transmit the wi-fi through usb tethering. I’ll try to install again endeavour os, to understand the problem.

Internet connection is over the air?

Yea. The phone connects to Wi-Fi and transmits the Internet to the computer. It works fine. In the room with the computer, the TP-Link worked very poorly. I think it’s because of the distance, or because of the monitor. In the room with the TV, the Internet works only when the TV is turned off. Probably the same thing happens if the monitor is on.

So did you plug your computer to modem/router directly with ethernet cable or were you using wireless all the time?

It can of course be so that I am not able to read.

Ethernet cable

That sounds very confusing setup for internet.

But I am glad you got it to work.

I would like to simply connect the Internet cable to the computer, and put TP-Link next to it, but unfortunately I have already described why I cannot do this. It remains to wait for an answer on the TP-Link forum.

New day, new logs. https://termbin.com/hrvhz . Looks like I’ll have to use Manjaro.

really looks like a connection issue … the failed packages are bigger in size…
Manjaro installer is offline.
And i bet EndeavourOS offline will also install fine… as it does not us eany network.

also what exactly means “with community editions” from your title?

I have already installed Endeavour Os in offline mode. But as I already said, pacman doesn’t work there. So it just doesn’t make sense.

Initially I thought that this error only occurs with community versions(bspwm, sway, qtile). As I realized later, this error is not only with community versions.
