This article is a follow-up on our thread about the WordPress websites being compromised.

Luckily, @dalto and @sradjoker managed at superhero speed, first trying to save the WordPress sites, then switching our main website from WordPress to a new website based on Astro. Thank you, guys, for putting all this effort into it on your Saturday night!!!

The Discovery website is still down, and this will remain so until we have finished a new website for it. Unfortunately, this will take some time.

For tips, tricks and troubleshooting, we advise you to go to the Arch wiki for now.

Just as a heads up:

At the bottom of https://endeavouros.com/ there’s a link to bluesky:

“https://bsky.app/profile/endeavouros.com”

Which results in a bluesky message of

“Unable to resolve handle” at my end.

(I don’t have an account there, so am not logged in.)

Something I noticed when checking out https://endeavouros.com/ was that the text here is a little bit hard to read.

I noticed that as well. The numbers and GB appear to be using the Ailerons font. Definitely way to small and slightly off. And two different fonts makes it look a bit weird.

This looks a lot like it is using my system font, so my guess is it wil be using the Ailerons font if you got it installed.

I don’t know about that. If that was the case, then it should ALL be Ailerons, not just random sections.

Here is the proof, with the Ailerons installed, I get this result (and I am not saying it will use the Ailerons everywhere).

Yes I noticed that when I install Vivaldi it will use default fonts that are a replacement (or something like that) for the “real” fonts, so I installed the (Ms) fonts it needs like e.g. Arial.

Well, then I’m further confused. I’m using default font settings in Librewolf/Firefox and Brave Origin. Neither has Ailerons enabled nor has anything been customized or changed from default.

Like I said it will use a font that is available on the system if possible, if not it will use anything that is close to whatever installed or maybe even a random font, or just the default system font.

if you uncheck it will use your custom fonts

Thanks for feedback, I will work on fixing the bugs.
We had to get this out without much testing.
