After the update of DHCPCD 8.1.7-1 to DHCPCD 9.0.1-2 I couldn’t reach my Linksys, no connexion anymore…
For now a downgrade is the solution :
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/dhcpcd-8.1.7-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
An issue is already related to it :

I have the new version and not seeing a problem? Is this with your own router?
local/dhcpcd 9.0.1-2
RFC2131 compliant DHCP client daemon
no issue here too

No issues here.
AT&T Pace wireless router Model 5268AC
Several wireless routers with DHCP disabled (acts as access points) connected to above.

no issue here too
Maybe a combination of packages are giving this?
No problems with my Linksys 1900 ACS.

Yep an old Linksys WRT54GS which is meraviglioso !
Never got any connexion problem before this update then the downgrade works well…
I also just enabled the testing repo for fun and downloaded the next kernel and whatever updates came through to see if it affected my Radeon but i think it must only be AMDGPU onboard. Seems to be working with no issue.

It seems that the issue reported UP is about the NM issue which is a different one, and they said :
unlikely to be fixed anytime soon
A new version dhcpcd 9.0.1-3 in testing…

Downgraded to 9.0.1-2 and rebooted
No IP Address
Downgraded to 8.1.7-1 and rebooted
Got an IP address and name resolution
→ It seems to be fixed with 9.0.1-4 still in testing…

Hi @ricklinux , yep sure, I do always this first…
I know it’s older but is there any firmware updates for it?
This version works for me:
$ dhcpcd --version
dhcpcd 9.0.1
What’s more, now I don’t have internet via Wi-Fi via modem and I’m using my phone to connect.

I don’t use the original firmware, I use an open source one that proposes more options…

I have the version 9.0.1-2
