Cant start XFCE4 graphical interface

In order to investigate your problem, you have to post what you have been asked for. :man_shrugging:

So i cant write commands on Alt+F1 one. I write them to Alt+F2

But this is the situation and i dont know what causes to this. This is why i am here

Can you scroll up and share the top of the output as well?

Output of which one

inxi -Fxxxz

But i wrote it on Alt+F2. Is it useful?

Use

inxi -Fxxxz | eos-sendlog

and post the url it will give you.

To Alt+F2?

Cuz i cant write on Alt+F1

It doesn’t matter which TTY you used. It is useful but it is missing all the information at the top.

You can use inxi -Fxxxz | less to see it a page at a time.

That will only work if he has a network in the TTY

Can we see the output of

pacman -Q | grep -i nvidia

It looks like you have no video drivers for your graphics card. This may be because you are running inxi from the TTY.

You don’t have any actual nvidia drivers which probably means you are using nouveau. That may be the right choice given the age of your GPU.

We probably need to see the Xorg logs to see what is failing.

This is seems like a dog’s tail chase. Administering a rolling Operating System requires some basic study.
My Magic Crystal Ball says that several important system packages have been removed.
@dalto what’s your Ball saying?

Don’t we need this info, or the previously asked?

grep "installed\|removed" /var/log/pacman.log | tail -n50

I give up. I am struggling with this for hours and it seems like its solving method requires arch command study. And I selected endeavor because i don’t have time for learning arch commands. I will go to another OS

It’s your choice. The community has been trying to help you. You didn’t provide much of the requested data.

Whichever distro you go to you really need to learn to be patient and the ability to follow instructions. It seems like you have pulled a Linus with your blender blunder.

I think the best OS for you would be Windows or Linux Mint. Endeavour or any other Arch-based distro needs some amount of knowledge in using terminal commands and somewhat experience in using a Linux distribution itself.

Thank you for trying out Endeavour and good luck in your future Endeavours.

Yes. I just needed a lightweight os for my learning and programs like vscode dont support arch very well (most of the extensions and themes). Endaveor os is a great os but i just dont have the time for learning arch commands.

Ya, we’re definitely Arch and terminal based.

If you don’t mind, how did you find out about Endeavour, and what made you choose this over another distro in the first place?? What gave you the impression to use Endeavour so you wouldn’t have to use Arch commands?

I am wondering where that could be more clear for others who may be in a similar situation to you. Thank you for your time!
