Can't boot after new Mesa update (25.1.3-3) and chroot doesn't fix it

Ever since the Mesa 25.1.x debacle, I’ve tried every update and they didn’t work. So, I just use chroot to downgrade Mesa and wait for the next update.

Today I updated to the 25.1.3-3 update, it didn’t work, so I used chroot to downgrade back to 25.0.5. But this time I got a “white screen of death”. This is in Gnome.

I have a dual boot of KDE Plasma and Gnome, so I booted into KDE Plasma which is still using version 25.0.5 and I just get a black screen with a cursor.

How do I fix this?

I am using a laptop with Intel Tiger Lake and Nvidia. My AMD laptop works fine.

I guess this is the solution.
