Follow the instructions here:

I chose No, since it was the default choice and I don’t have a clue what would happen if I deleted it  and I did not get any of those errors. I just restored prior to running update in yad and try it again by saying No to yad-eos.

That is completely unrelated. Also, you should have said “Yes”

So I will restore and choose Yes, thank you. Fortunatley I have your handy dandy Btrfs Assistant

Why restore? Simply install yad-eos (I’ll then ask you if you want to replace…)

OT:
I’m getting this error message on the Pi

yay -R yad
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing yad breaks dependency 'yad' required by eos-bash-shared
:: removing yad breaks dependency 'yad' required by yad-eos
 -> exit status 1
  1. This is unrelated to yad thing
  2. There is no reason to do a restore for this either.
You already got an explanation for that warning message in another thread → Simply ignore it.

All of this conversation is completely though. Sorry @ajucodz

You can’t remove it. Just install eos-yad and let it replace it.

It doesn’t replace it:

yay -S yad-eos

I wonder if you don’t have the latest yad-eos on ARM.

It was part of the screenshot. I did ignore it.

Also sorry @ajucodz to break into your thread with something unrelated.

See the last two posts in this topic

Syncing package updates between x86_64 and ARM

At one time manuel changed the architecture of yad-eos to ‘any’
With the lastest version of yad-eos I had to go back to armv7h and aarch64 for the architecture to install the proper version of yad.
