Normally it would be sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot/efi
Allright. Now it is /mnt/boot/efi
and I tried this again

Many of the prior steps are not valid anymore since we writing to the wrong place so I would reinstall the kernel: pacman -S linux linux-headers then try rebooting.

You know what - it worked!!! I’m in. Wow that was fantastic, you guys are amazing. but I guess we still don’t know what caused the problem.
