That’s why i was saying the nvidia will do more displays. But right now I’m just trying to get it working the way it was with nouveau. That’s what i would do also get an adpapter.

I just run sudo nvidia-installer-dkms to get it like before?

I did do that, for a while, until I got a different ‘secondary’ monitor that had displayport. Now I run an HDMI/Displayport combo on my RX580…

Did you run the command to remove nvidia and reinstall nouveau?

Yes but that made it go black screen again. I reinstalled the nvidia ones and have placed an order for a hdmi to vga converter.
