This book is only available in hardcover in Germany. I prefer paperback format. I’ll wait until next year
Then T.C. Boyle’s No Way Home will also be available in paperback. Until then, there are a few books to read.
Hawkmoon by Michael Moorcock. It’s a really good read.
All of her books are amazing, a fantastic writer! The last one I read was ‘The Lola Quartet’.
I’m reading The Lottery and other stories by Shirley Jackson.
It is considered a classic work of short fiction, a story remarkable for its combination of subtle suspense and pitch-perfect descriptions of both the chilling and the mundane.
I finished the first 3 shorts stories this morning, strange vibes, interesting writing.
I’m reading the Greek ebook.
I just bought this, I’m excited, the summary sounds promising:
Started reading this one last night
It’s in my never ending tbr. Not enough years left in my life for these numbers of books I’m afraid. ![]()
I have a number of authors that for me are mental “comfort food.” Sue Grafton, Rex Stout, and Richard Francis (the board software won’t let me post his first name). Easy to pick up and read at bedtime, enough plot to keep me engaged, and generally quick reads. Re-starting the Richard Francis ouevre with his debut novel.
Reading Catch-22.
It is freaking hilarious. Everyone has a share. And that share is a piece of paper. ![]()
I’m reading the Greek translation of: The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joël D*cker
The book has been described as a "breathtakingly plotted" story.
PS. The forum guardian force me to change the author’s name ![]()
I’m reading the Greek edition of: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. D i ck.
I have seen both “Blade Runner” movies but the book was in my tbr for years. Now is the time.
Just started reading - The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Ariwanawa(early present for christmas) enjoying it so far
