Bad/blocky font on wayland

I found several threads about that issue and i have followed the solutions yet the issue just seem to remain. My issue looks exactly the same

Odd flatpak graphics on wayland

So running KDE, and recently started using wayland since i switched to AMD All was well until i noticed odd blurriness with some flatpaks. So far i have noticed this with gzdoom, bottles and flatseal. The current workaround is to use flatseal to force all problematic flatpaks to use X11. Though i already have xdg-desktop-portal-gtk and xdg-desktop-portal-kde (i’m using Plasma) installed. When using X11 i don’t have this issue. What am i doing wrong?

I ran into this a while ago, unfortunately my notes from then don’t say anything about my trouble shooting other than that I switched to the AUR package for Bottles.

Sadly it isn’t just Bottles it seems like it is all Flatpak Packages. Same goes for Flatseal for example.

I just noticed that this is related to some flatpak update. I tested it on my other System there Wayland was looking allright. But after running flatpak update the issue started there as well. Though have no clue what package exactly caused it.

Bottles was the only flatpak I was using, which is probably why I don’t have anything other than that in my notes =(

Installing xdg-desktop-portal-gnome fixed it, I’m not sure if that’s a good idea or not with KDE as I’m still pretty new to Linux and EndeavourOS
