Authenticate with MS LifeCam HD-3000

I downloaded “howdy” but have yet to stumble across understandable instructions to get
the MS LifeCam HD-3000 recognized, let alone use it to authenticate for passkey use.

All hints where I might find a tutorial appreciated.

After a long time and thanks to trial and error I managed to get Howdy working on EndeavourOS and you can too! Step 1: Howdy AUR. Just install the Howdy’s AUR package the way you want, in my case I install it with pamac. Step 2: Identify which is your login manager.
