Are you waiting for KDE Plasma6.1 to hit Stable in Arch repos today?

Should be coming any second now.

Some of the bigger features added include:
o Remote Desktop support from within System Settings.
o Customization with the Plasma Edit Mode was overhauled.
o Plasma can now re-open apps from your last session on Wayland.
o The start of RGB LED sync with your desktop accent colour.

Also triple buffering and nVidia Explicit Sync. And maybe improvements on HDR.

What are y’all doing right now, while it gets into Arch repos?

I’ve been playing about with Nobara recently, as it has all of these changes backported and in use already.

Explicit Sync on Nvidia is really nice, and most things seem to work ok in Wayland on Nvidia now, which is great.

I’ll probably re-install Endeavour at the weekend, after these changes are put on the AUR.

The 555 Nvidia driver (with Explicit Sync support) is out of beta now and available for general use, isn’t it?

There are no features there I personally care about in the short-term so I am not in any rush.

Sitting back listening to music and having a few drinks thinking about today and wondering if I should make a second feed (I’ve done my weekly/fortnightly update earlier so even if it hits the repos soon I won’t see it til next week)

I think it will take two weeks until it is in the Arch repos

At my age, you think about today and not about tomorrow, let alone what will happen in two weeks’ time

Best place to be mentally is the present. We should all know what happens if you have a foot in yesterday and another into tomorrow, we :poop: all over today

I keep running through the house, shouting ‘yay’ or ‘pacman -Syu’ frantically.
But without success…

Been running 6.1 beta the whole time and went ahead and grabbed 6.1 stable out of the testing repos. So no waiting for me.

I’m not that desperate to find a bug

Quite a few of the one’s I reported during the beta were fixed in 6.1.0 with one of them being fixed in 6.1.1. Hopefully, you won’t find one.
