AFAIK, Lineage has Google reporting only if you run actual Google apps - which is mostly avoidable. No Google Play or such for me (mostly doesn’t work for Canada anyway). It seems pretty effective, both on the phone and on the tablets…

Worth noting that that LineageOS under study here had openGapps installed. That would perhaps account for the data being sent to Google.

Looks more of a viable option than the current PinePhone (which is a bit wheezy). Will have to wait and see whether the explorer edition is any thinner than the currently proposed units.
