I worked in a grocery store in high school and we didn’t have a ton of back storage. But i would get asked quite a bit to check in the back. At first I would try and correct folks and explain that there are only certain things back there. But they would just insist like I was an idiot. So i just stopped trying and i would just tell them I would check and I would go sit in the breakroom for about 5 mins and come out and say sorry we are all out
