Pretty much what Windows is turning into save the 3rd party apps.
For me, not interested in either. I neuter everything I use of AI if possible.

It occasionally gives a stupid and wrong answer, but AI is probably the biggest invention since the “wheel”. Yes, it is that big. And it will only get better. With the need of ever increasing processing power and an unsatiable hunger for energy, it will drive humanity’s evolution. I am not saying Star Trek will be reality (i wish it did), i am just saying AI will have a huge role in our lives and maybe even after we die (think of Superman’s parents). We are probably the last generations having the privilage of “avoiding” it but future generations won’t be able to.
That is my take on it.

I’m good on that. Plenty of ways I already interact with LLMs. Don’t need the whole OS involved.

I am not resisting at this point 
To the ground? Maybe. But i don’t think we needed AI to do that. Our main challenge is our caveman brains. That is the real problem. Our detachment from nature. Our individuality. And our collective stupidity. So i actually think more Borg, less human, maybe AI can help us with that. It can be the additional technological distinctiveness ha?

Don’t you think the computers and the software that they run are in simple terms a form of AI? Let’s say a much less advanced version of it. I actually would propose that even this is AI:
