xdg-user-dirs now includes a Project directory in home. In thunar it does not appear in places on the sidebar you have to add it as a bookmark, it also does not have an icon as the other xdg directories have.
Should it not be added automatically like the other xdg directories and have an icon.
Maybe because it’s new it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles yet. Never seen this myself, but if it’s being added, then it will get its own icon and such eventually.
That said: the default bookmarks can be edited by the distro, so there can and will be some inconsistency in that regard. I imagine Projects won’t be shown the same way Templates isn’t shown in the sidebar because most people won’t need/use them.
