XBox Series X Controller install

Hey there,
I got for my birthday a XBox Series X Controller, which I want to use for my PC. It is wireless and has an adapter for PC

What programms/scripts do I need to install/run on EndeavourOS to use the controller? Totally a newbie when it comes to installing controller drivers.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
this is for Xbox 360 controllers but I would imagine that it’s helpful for the new controller as well:

You’d want this package: xone-dkms.
If you are on 6.3 kernel, it won’t build successfully.
There is an open PR, so you’d have to use it manually in order to get it working on 6.3 kernel.

For 6.2 and under, just install the package, restart you pc, and it will work instantly like it does on Windows.

You need to press the pairing button on the usb adapter, and then press the pairing button on the controller.

After pressing the pairing button on the usb adapter, it will start to blink. Once the pairing process is complete, the light will not blink anymore.

I have to use the AUR xpadneo for my xbox elite series 2.

Thanks mate, that helped!
I didn’t figured it out with 6.3 Kernel, so I just downgraded with akm to 6.2, and after the install and restart it instantly paired it!

Thanks a lot
