Wlan0 not detected

I just installed the latest version of the operating system but after installation I found out it doesn’t detect the wlan0 device I went to /dev but its not there, even in the live boot CD,i cant connect to wifi using my wlan0, but it works on win10 which i dual booted with this OS,Also i just downloaded the iso yesterday so its latest one, what can cause this?,and any solution?,i’ll have to remove the OS if no solution

First of all, please post the output of inxi -Fxxc0z | eos-sendlog.

Even if i run it ,Am using my phone to reply, how can i post the output here when the OS cant connect

But in the log,i can see my wireless device there Realtek ***********/*********** Wireless LAN as Device-1 and the driver is rtl819xE ,v:N/A,pcie:,port:c000,lanes:1,speed:2.5GT/s , and device-2 as the ethernet device

The problem is the PC cant connect to internet at all, sending of logs is null :expressionless:

Is it possible to send a pic?

so can’t detect them in the live envriment? Man I wouldnt have even installed to be honest without an answer but we all learn some way or another. If you can find the right info someone should be able to talk you through installing the drivers as long as you have something that can connect

Fr man,the live env too cant connect ,dammn,so no solution to this?

Didn’t say this just going to be a little bit of work more than likey. I’m not in a place to help with this further but I think someone might be able tot help you

Alright, its just like arch,so it can be fixed like arch,i’ll like to get to the end of this problem

Pretty much mate, the installer just makes things a lot easier

i used the installer

seems its the iso that got problem

Well if you could figure out how to share some more info people would be able to guide you, Like I said not in a place to find this for you but should be able to find easy enough

Is there no way for you to connect online without a wireless connection?

Can you post the output of these commands?

lsmod | grep 819

Also

modinfo r8192e_pci | grep 8192

Edit: You can try the following and see if it works. I’m taking a guess here.

Create the following file with text editor

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Add

blacklist r8192e_pci
blacklist r8192se_pci

Reboot and see if it works.

Even a phone made picture will be fine here, OP.

Are you not able to connect using a network cable directly to the router?

Or can you plug in your phone and use internet through USB?
