Wireless adapter working on live usb but not detected after reboot

Hello guys! I just installed EndeavourOS. On live user my adapter (TL-WN723N) was working fine. But after rebooting into the os it cannot be detected any more.
ip link shows no wireless interface
dmesg | grep usbcore shows r8188eu drivers (on both live and installed os)

I don’t know what r8188eu 3-7:1.0: _rtw_init_xmit_priv failed means. Any help is welcomed
Thanks!

Hi @astrank and welcome aboard the good ship :enos:
Even though you included some journals, we need to know more.

Thanks for your answer!
I’ve added some info based on the article. It seems to me that for some reason my adapter it’s not using the drivers, even though on the live usb it does.

Try the LTS kernel and see if it will work. First update your system fully:

sudo pacman -Syu

then

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers

Reboot and chose the LTS kernel to boot.

Hey, thanks for replying. I’ve installed it and still undetected, although now on dmesg -rl warn, err, crit the adapter driver (r8188eu) doesn’t give me any errors.

Try this package from AUR:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/8188eu-dkms-git

yay -S 8188eu-dkms

Reboot and try each of your installed kernels and see if it works.
