Wine-mono package not working

When I set up a new prefix using winecfg, I get the Wine Mono Installer prompt. This doesn’t make any sense, as I do have wine-mono installed. What could possibly be going wrong? It worked previously, and I haven’t touched these packages.

pacman -Qs wine:

local/protontricks 1.14.1-1
local/wine 11.12-1
local/wine-mono 11.1.0-1
local/winetricks 20260125-2

I’ve tried reinstalling wine and wine-mono. I’m not sure what else I could try.

Your wine-mono is not up to date.

The question could be, why this package isn’t up to date. Shouldn’t it be updated automatically when checking for updates? :thinking:

The package itself was updated about a week ago , so if you update every 2 weeks (or maybe just once a week, and haven’t done the update yet) the update could have been missed at the time this topic was made.
