Windows bootloader loads evertime instead of Grub

https://fosswire.com/post/2009/05/restoring-overwritten-grub/

edit /etc/default/grub add or uncomment GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false save that file then run sudo update-grub or sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg Endeavouros disabled os-prober by default.

i did that before when trying to get windows to be a entry

Did grub worked before ? i mean could you boot strait into grub and had windows as a boot option keep in mind if you had windows wants always be the first option not the second because if it is second grub will be over written most of the times after a windows update.

grub didn’t work before

can you go into your bios and take a look what the settings are there ? what is the first boot device ? is that windows or the partition where endeavouros is installed ?

the first boot device is the windows boot manager but i can’t change to anything else thats on the ssd the other one is the a usb a dvd drive and things like that

:speaking_head: :mega: For the third and last time give us some hardinfo:

efibootmgr -v
ls -R /boot/efi

I assume your ESP is at /boot/efi. Confirm in /etc/fstab the vfat partition mount point and adjust the command if it is different.
