sudo netctl start Anjaneya.service
[sudo] password for ramesh:
Job for netctl@Anjaneya.service.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See “systemctl status netctl@Anjaneya.service.service” and “journalctl -xe” for details.
[ramesh@ramesh ~]$
I’m not sure why this isn’t working. I’m missing something here in the translation? Maybe someone else has some other input on this. Or maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree? I have not had to deal with netcl before but some of these odd wifi chips give trouble when they don’t automatically work.
On mine there is no netctl loaded only network manager.
so you could try
systemctl enable NetworkManager-wait-online.service
systemctl start NetworkManager-wait-online.service
applied. next?
did you do both?
Yes. no error
Okay try restarting the computer and see if anything is any different.
Restarted. However no effect.
Glad to inform you that I have finally connected to WiFi. Thank you very much for your support.
So how did you finally get it working? You were able to find the connection now for wifi?
As a last resort, I have checked whether it has any wifi switch. Upon my scrutiny it has switch so I have put some pressure on it. .Then WiFi got selected and asked to provide password through network applet. Now it is instantly connecting while booting. Before look into switch I have also some run some commands as given one of site. i dont know whether it has any effect in solving the issue. Your contribution for solving wifi issue is remarkable and major role in solving the issue. once again. I thank you your support for resolving the wifi. Your Great efforts.
See how wifi–menu command shows the SSID?. I feel the current network manager available having some issue in my evaluation. I agree some minor hardware issue. Sir please make necessary changes in the posting and delete unnecessary postings.
I’m sure that some of the things we did had a hand in making it work as it showed the right information. I knew there was something else in the equation that i was missing and i never thought it would be the WIFI switch being off. But hey it was a good lesson. I’m sure you learned something and i always do.
Glad it’s working the way i thought it should be. Hope you enjoy EndeavourOS.
