Wifi controller problem

I have a laptop with Endevour OS on it and when I tried to install it in the install I saw that there weren’t any wifi connections. I plugged it into ethernet because I thought I could deal with the problem after installed it but there still isn’t any wifi connections available. The device controller I have is realtek RTL8821CE. I tried installing a driver from it but it didn’t do anything. I am using i3wm desktop enviroment. Thanks in advance

I think this chip can run on the r8169 kernel module but sometimes they don’t work. You may have to install the rtl8821ce-dkms-git from the AUR. But you’ll need an internet connection to do that so either tethering off a mobile phone or ethernet.

I installed it twice but it didnt seem to do anything after reboot (I did it twice). The adapter still isnt being recognized.(sorry for late reply)

Did you install the package rtl8821ce-dkms-git
