Why is there no on-screen keyboard?

Hello, I installed EndeavourOS KDE Wayland. There is no on-screen keyboard. Can you help me install it in the simplest way?

Also, if there is a request for an on-screen keyboard in the .iso, people with physical disabilities can use it.

If you are using wayland, you can install maliit-keyboard

sudo pacman -S maliit-keyboard

I will try Thank you.

Hello again, I installed the onboard screen keyboard. While I’m typing, the keyboard fades into the background and disappears. What should I do?

I installed Maliit first but it is not working

Scroll down to section 3.1.2.2

If your device has a hardware keyboard, but you want to use the virtual keyboard,
add the KWIN_IM_SHOW_ALWAYS=1 environment variable to your Wayland session.

Pudge

Old post, but how does one exactly set this environment variable? Reading the link didn’t give me any clear instruction.

Dealing with this maliit keyboard issue. It used to work before. Must’ve been broken since latest update to plasma.
