you are updating by command or using something else?

Could be you are on software renderer instead of hardware after installing mesa -demos you can check it with: sudo pacman -S mesa-demos
glxinfo | egrep "OpenGL vendor|OpenGL renderer" what should echo your graphic hardware or using inxi:
inxi -G

Also seems you are on a Notebook? with dual graphics/hybrid graphics ? so you may need to check here:

Have you tried newer kernels lately?

No Iam on LTS 5.4

command output of glxinfo | egrep "OpenGL vendor|OpenGL renderer" :

OpenGL vendor string: Intel
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 (KBL GT2)

output of inxi -G :

Graphics:
  Device-1: Intel HD Graphics 620 driver: i915 v: kernel
  Device-2: AMD Sun XT [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8690M / R5 M330 / M430 /
  Radeon 520 Mobile]
  driver: radeon v: kernel

  unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,vesa resolution: <missing: xdpyinfo>
OpenGL: renderer: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 620 (KBL GT2) v: 4.6 Mesa 21.2.3

so looks like you are running on integrated intel gpu for rendering

Yes

it should in normal case not result in such a huge system lag.
could you send the boot log:
journalctl -b -0 | eos-sendlog

and you can try if you can catch some error from live journal while this happen:
watching video while updating/installing and after this pastebin the log:

journalctl --since "10 minutes ago" | eos-sendlog

sorry I just reinstalled endeavour os with KDE, for now everything is going fine.

Thanks everyone for responding to this post.

If I face same issue in future I will refer to everyone’s respons.

Thank you all!

Are you now using the latest kernel?

no now Iam on 5.10 LTS

previously I was on 5.4 LTS

I also used 5.13 on my previous install.

and using amdgpu driver cause radeon driver is causing problem In all kernels and Distros.

except 5.4 LTS, only in this kernel my DGPU is not causing problem.

In every other kernel if I use my DPU to lauch any app system freezes.
