1.36 is the latest stable version so no need to downgrade its the latest repro version
I got 1.4.0 a while ago via updates. It was bad. That’s why I rolled back.
Just checked 1.35 was updated to 1.40 and the same day flagged so it must of been that bad its gone back, as this is a new install
I still have it waiting for me:
I’m going to block it.
Try using pacman Syyu as this is strange one of us is out of sync with mirrors
Same:
[sg@Lenovo-TC-M710q ~]$ sudo pacman -Syyu
[sudo] password for sg:

must be mine lol yes its mine
just installed lollypop-next-git from AUR working fine
Now is 1.4.0 gone for me. I only see 1.3.6. I do not know what’s happening
Edit:
It was not gone and I install it and now Lollypop does not work again
I just tried launching lollypop also and it doesn’t work either. 1.4.0-1
Edit: What does this mean then?
[ricklinux@eos-xfce ~]$ lollypop

Edit: I know it’s related to python but?
It looks like it’s an issue with the libhandy
version:
Well … can i fix it? I want my lollypop!
Edit: The only libhandy i see on here is for widgets for mobile phones.
It looks like a quick and easy fix might be to install this libhandy 1
package from the AUR:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libhandy1/
Note that it states “can be installed alongside 0.0” so that’s good. I’d say it’s worth a try.
What about the version in the official repository? libhandy 0.0.13-2
It looks like Lollypop is looking for handy 1, and the official Arch package is 0.0.13.
Since the AUR package doesn’t require removing/replacing the regular version, it seems like that would be a quick (temporary) fix.
EDIT - do you mean you don’t have any libhandy package installed at all? In that case, yes, maybe the official package might work fine; I was assuming you had the official package already (note that I use neither Lollypop nor libhandy, so I’m not personally familiar with either).
Well it’s strange to me as python 3.8 is installed. So i don’t know?
Edit: There is no libhandy installed.
All I can tell you is, there’s a libhandy 1.0.0-1 in the Arch Staging repo.
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=libhandy
There’s also the AUR package called libhandy1 1.0.0-2.
I don’t use Lollypop, so I can’t give you any more than that. Good luck.
Okay i tried libhandy and it didn’t launch. So i uninstalled it and installed libhandy1 from the AUR. Now it launches but the program looks a little different so they must have changed it a bit.
@ricklinux I did a downgrade for now.
Use the git version of Lollypop lollypop-next-git works fine and yes a few changes to interface
