As the title says, my screeen brightness does not restore, I have to reboot to make it full again.
I have noted a bug of late on my laptop in the last few weeks only, where the display looks really dark at 100% brightness. I bump it back a notch and bam, it’s bright again (at like 98% or something like that).
I figured it was a bug. It seems related to power management. I use my laptop infrequently, so I haven’t gotten around to troubleshooting it.
Does the issue you’re getting sound similar?
Similar but even if I try restore in settings nothing changes, can’t even set it lower just stays at same reduced brightness
This full brightness issue was also on Fedora, on Gnome. It has been now fixed however. It was apparently a kernel issue.
