Man, I love great wine and great beer (emphasis on great).
But you know, a good cider - preferably unfiltered - is a mighty fine beverage.
Downeast Cider (Boston, Massachusetts USA) Original Blend. Unfiltered. Just a tad sweeter than I’d prefer but that’s OK, it’s got a very honest apple flavor that satisfies.
every few years I gift myself 6 of these. This is an easy beer to drink all of. I just started. Shiner a tiny Texas town where time stopped: same beer, same taste & recipe, same label, same blurb, same color over the years,. Caramel finish and definitely what you hipsters call a “session” beer. It’s funny they call it a “lager” in the blurb on back and a “bock” on the front label. I don’t know the difference.
I only know it’s 4.4% abv where regular macro lager is 3.5 thereabouts. So buzz factor
Onto the second bottle now, have 1 more think i might trade it now i looked this up right, 300 to 1200 a bottle? who the f pays that? thats me covered for a good year easy.
