Wanted to update my system today and pacman asked me if I wanted to
:: Import PGP key 06313911057DD5A8, "George Hu <integral@archlinux.org>"? [Y/n]
So I looked that up and it turns out George Hu’s key is not signed by any of the 5 arch linux master keys .
But there is no way to update without importing that key. Even though I do not have any of the packages that George Hu is a maintainer on.
I obviously have no reason not to trust this key and it’s probably fine. (Probably much safer than installing anything from the AUR.)

Can you share that message in full context? i.e. the full terminal output including the command you ran.

I wonder why the key is still listed as completely unsigned on archlinux.org/master-keys/ , in that thread are multiple people who have master keys.

I wondered about the new signature, too. Thanks, @MichelN for following it up.
Before you received the signature warning, when was the last time you updated from the Arch repository?
For myself, I have had the odd time where the archlinux-keyring was not up to date. So then I would get messages to update a particular packages pgp key. This was an infrequent used /updated system.

It was one two weeks ago, but I updated the keyring manually after i got this message.
We would have to see the specific error you faced. An out of date key ring has a different error where the specific package key does not match … I believe this is when you are prompted to import a key.
I have had systems which have not updated for past 6 months and the arch-keyring will not update unless I disabled the signature check when updating the one arch keyring file.
